One of the first things I pushed for after getting elected was to have such a publication for the public to get a breakdown of the important work happening with each county department and a budget comparison. This is typical for municipalities, and I’m glad the county now has this as well. Another way we are making county government more transparent and accountable to you.

town reports

Historically, town or annual reports of municipalities include a letter from state and federal elected officials. Missing from this group? County elected leaders. County government is typically not included. I'm working with local officials to ensure a letter from my office is included.

Why is this important? Everyone deserves access to both information but also their elected officials. Town reports are one mechanism to reach constituents when all other forms aren't being used. Pleased to report that all communities represented will have a letter from my office included in their next town report.
